How to use the Homeschool Texas calendar

Start with your region

Choose your region at the top of the events page. You'll see events in that area, plus statewide events like conventions and online sessions. Choose All of Texas to see everything.

Narrow it down

  • Search by name, city or venue.
  • When shows the next week, the next month, the next three months, or everything ahead.
  • Type lets you pick homeschool days, outdoor programs, classes, conventions and more.
  • Ages keeps events that suit your kids. Events without published ages stay in the results, because they might still fit.

Your filters are saved in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a view such as "San Antonio, outdoor programs".

List or calendar

The list is the default and is the easiest to read on a phone. Switch to Calendar for a month view, which helps when you're planning a whole month.

What "Needs confirmation" means

Some events are announced before every detail is settled. When a time, venue or price isn't published, the event is labeled Needs confirmation and the card says what's missing. Every event links to its official source, and that source always has the final word.

Put events in your own calendar

Each region has its own calendar feed, and there's one for all of Texas. Subscribe once and new events appear in your calendar app automatically. Look for Subscribe on the events page.
